It’s a wonderful feeling to simply put my hand in my pocket and take a picture, to make my own picture—not with a photographer’s eye but with an everyday eye. Looking, taking pictures, writing and then looking again. In the process, everything that I’m looking at starts changing, enigmatically, because what I take pictures of turns into something else. Sometimes it’s like a dream where things seamlessly morph from one thing into another: wherever I look, the world changes.
